The Eleventh House

The eleventh house, labha, means gains. Depending on how we interpret gain, this house reflects abundance—spiritual, emotional or physical. The energy of the eleventh house deals with profit derived from income, or benefit our soul receives as a result of karmic activities and accomplishments in the tenth house. This is the house of wishes fulfilled. However, we should be discerning about what we ask for lest there be unwanted consequences. For example, a young woman marries a rich and successful, much older man purely for his money. Unexpectedly, she falls deeply in love with him so that, when he dies, the money she inherits is no consolation for her grief.
